- The online transcription editor for making transcriptions of manuscripts which runs at itsee-wce.birmingham.ac.uk/ote/transcriptiontool. The editor is not easy to use with the keyboard only and may also not be accessible to screen readers. The tool is used to produce XML transcriptions of manuscripts. It is made available openly on our website primarily for use by our doctoral research students. It is only one of several ways that transcriptions can be made and there is no requirement that it be used. If you would like to contribute to our work but are unable to use the editor we would be happy to discuss alternatives with you. Please make contact with us at email@example.com.
